Globalstar Starpak 550 Docking Station
This STARPAK 550 Docking Station utilizses the Globalstar Telit SAT551 Satellite Kit integrated into a Pelican 1400 high impact, waterproofl hard case. Worlds smallest at 6x11x13in (15x24x39cm) and lightest at 10.4lb (4.6kg) With the Indoor Power Adapter and the satellite antenna positioned with a clear view to the sky, the Starpak 550 can also be used in a remote office or marine vessel.
The omni directional mini-stick antenna handles variations in tilting and mounting positions with ease. When GSM is out of range, this model will switches automatically from GSM mode (integrated GSM antenna supplied) to satellite mode. Voice and data access (Bluetooth Kit) is available for enabling wireless ranges up to 1000ft (300m).

With the Indoor Power Adapter and the Satellite Antenna extended with a clear view to the sky, the Starpak 550 can also be used in the Office or Work site environment. (Satellite Antenna Extension option available up to 80 feet)
The inbuilt privacy handset disengages the Handsfree Speaker and Microphone enabling a normal phone type conversation.
